Although there has been 100's of Avatar's throughout the time of the universe, their spirit remains the same. Here we have the Avatar Aang, Avatar Roku, & Avatar Korra (plus the Avatar State of Aang!) This picture has a deep connection and a meaning. It is quite extra-ordinary and amazing about the concept of the Avatar Cycle. Sometimes, I try to make myself believe that this is not actually a TV show, but indeed part of real life. The thought is quite wondrous.
