As we saw in 2010, The Last Airbender movie (based on the Nickelodeon's animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender) was released. It featured the similar plot and concepts of the original Nickelodeon series. The only thing different about this movie that is was made of real actors and real scenes. If I say so myself, it wasn't too great of a movie. In fact, many fans of the original show got quite disappointed of its poor structure and creation.

Almost as if it a chance to redeem themselves, Paramount Pictures has finally released some news and thoughts on a Legend of Korra movie. Similar to The Last Airbender movie, this movie should also consist of real actors and real scenes. Paramount Pictures released this news during the evening time on August 16, 2012. Paramount Pictures has decided that if this movie gets confirmed, the budget is to be less then $100 million (which is considerably average-low for movie productions.)

Of course I would sincerely hope that they keep their budget intentions at a low key, especially after facing a decent amount of many millions of dollars on the low ratings of The Last Airbender movie.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Decent ratings for this movie could generate much revenue for Legend of Korra and popularity and attention as well. We'll be sure to keep you updated with more information on this movie and Legend of Korra in general.
