I bet you are already upset, simply looking at the image above as well as the title. I am here today, Avatar fans, to deliver some terrible news. M. Night Shyamalan, creator of The Last Airbender, might be in the production for The Last Airbender 2 (sequel of the original.)The rumours, may be indeed true. As if the first movie wasn't bad enough, Shyamalan has further decided to create a part two. But he doesn't stop there. In an interview with MTV, he hinted a potential part 3 and 4. This means that there could be a possible 3 or 4 movies representing Avatar. This is what he said:
"The third is more ambiguous, but the second one, I've written a draft that I'm really happy with and is darker and richer, and it has a wonderful antagonist in it in Azula, who's kind of like our only real, pure antagonist in the series, so I'm excited about that."

In the same interview, Shyamalan stated he has much of The Last Airbender 2 'mapped out.' Therefore, The Last Airbender 2 may come out as early as late 2013.
