Uncle Iroh’s words still ring true long after his time on
the show ended. His zen message to Prince Zuko about forgetting revenge and
instead accepting life, love, and tea are words that we can all hope to live
by.
We summarize Uncle’s philosophy as this: Believe in
yourself, your friends and your family, and forget the rest. Even when he and
Zuko lived homeless in Basingse, Uncle never lost faith or his positive
outlook.
Of course, none of us will ever meet Uncle, so he won’t realize the
